Building with Bernoudy - April 23rd

I am teaching at STLCC on Tuesday, talking about my art at the Guild on Thursday, doing a curriculum planning gig at South County Tech on the 20th and this on the 23rd. Then some time off.
The story of working with and adding to a William Bernoudy-designed house becomes a lesson of “complexity and contradiction in architecture” on a very local and personal level. Builder and designer Richard Reilly will share the story of renovating and updating the 1953 Simms House (located at #3 Sumac Lane in Ladue) with his drawings and photos of the project.

Speaking at The Guild on 4/14

I have a speaking engagement at the St. Louis Artists' Guild at 7:00PM on Thursday, April 14th. Click on the link for more details. The Creative Artisans Section has invited me. I have done a lot of public speaking about sustainability & green construction that has incorporated my photography but this is the first time I'll be speaking about my creative processes and how they inform my participation in the community as a builder and artist.
I will bring a few portfolios of specific photography projects, something from my last show and a few journals for people to peek at while I present a bit more info about projects I currently have in progress.
